Ed has a long history of supporting entrepreneurial businesses in the city of Dallas as a corporate executive for two separate publicly traded computer software companies, as a partner in a Dallas based venture capital firm, and as an owner of a company providing information management solutions to Energy companies and companies in other vertical markets.  He is active as a member of the executive team for Movement Day Greater Dallas, a city transformation ministry, and teaches a young married small group at Park Cities Baptist Church in Dallas. 


Brenda Teele is a local television personality who serves several DFW nonprofit groups. She’s currently a freelance host for CBS11 and can be seen on CMT’s “Making the Team” featuring the Dallas Cowboy Cheerleaders. She’s a mother of 3 sons and is a member of Oakcliff Bible Fellowship Church.

Wade Myers


Wade is an entrepreneur, investor, and advisor. Kurt Knapton

Today, Kurt is an investor and strategic advisor to a portfolio of early-stage growth companies, where he invests both his time and capital seeking to achieve “triple bottom line returns” (e.g. financial, social and spiritual).  Kurt also serves on the Board of Directors of Edify, a non-profit that funds low-fee private schools in developing countries.

John Raymond is the Chief Business Executive for GuideStone Financial Resources leading all insurance and investment services - GuideStone Funds is the largest Christian based mutual fund family; and provides investment solutions for retirement plans, retail and institutional clients.  Prior to joining GuideStone, he was a senior management in the Wealth Management Division of Wells Fargo Bank.



Ross is professor of management and founding director of the Center for Business as Mission at Dallas Baptist University. His Ph.D. in business administration is from the University of Texas at Arlington. Scot is Senior Vice President for MacDonald Realty Group, a Family Office Organization that invests in value add multifamily apartments, and private debt & equity projects. MacDonald is committed to business as ministry and mission. Specifically, by creating a ministry organization to meet the physical and spiritual needs of thousands of residents and families of their apartment communities. Prior to MacDonald he held executive positions with commercial real estate and boutique investment consulting firms, and began his career in Audit with the national accounting firm Alexander Grant the predecessor firm to Grant Thornton.


Kirk McKinnon serves as Senior Vice President for Avatar Investment Group, a group that directly invests in a broad range of asset classes.  He has previously served with International Justice Mission, a faith-based NGO seeking to protect the poor and vulnerable from violence and oppression, and in positions with the private equity group Tregan Partners, and the law firm of Haynes and Boone, LLP.
